During my initial consultation with Jennifer, I learned she wanted to replace the existing carpet all over her house with new hardwood floors. At first, she wanted to keep the small tile in her entryway but loved my idea of having continuous hardwood flooring throughout. I explained how this would bring all the rooms together and make the home look less “choppy”.
When I met with Jennifer, I brought several hardwood flooring samples to her home. “I can’t say enough positive things about Hunter Ross and our experience working with Wood Floors of Dallas. After contacting five contractors, four came to the house, took measurements, gave quotes, and explained their process. The choice was clear right away the Hunter was the best choice for the job.
Hunter responded quickly to my inquiry. He arrived on time, and gave me a reasonable meeting time (not a 4 hour window), and worked around my schedule. His explanation of the process was clear and thorough. His price was the best, and made the most sense. Another quote was comparable, but the process Hunter used was less disruptive to the home. I was surprised at how different each contractor approached the same project. His process was straight forward and the least disruptive.
Once the team arrived for demo, they were efficient and made sure to take careful measures to protect the rest of the home. We went from beige carpets to engineered hardwood, and couldn’t be happier with the results. The house always felt a little messy around the edges with the carpet. Now we love the way the house feels with the hardwood, and know it is because Hunter and his team did such a fabulous job!
